Chicago Shamrox was a professional indoor lacrosse team based in Chicago, Illinois. The team was a member of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and played for three seasons from 2007-2009. The team played its home games at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, a suburb of Chicago. The Shamrox were the first professional indoor lacrosse team to represent Chicago, and their logo featured a shamrock, which is a symbol of Irish heritage and Chicago's identity as a "windy city." Their colors were green, black, and white. In 2009, the team was sold and relocated to Minnesota, where it became the Minnesota Swarm.
